A full-stack LED display quoting platform that replaced a sprawling Excel workbook with an interactive screen builder, automatic PDF quote generation, tiered pricing, and an admin dashboard for tracking the entire quote pipeline.
The Challenge
Kingdom Minded was running their entire LED display quoting process out of Excel. The workbook had formulas for everything: panel counts based on screen dimensions, pricing multipliers for different customer tiers, weight-based shipping, installation costs. Every time a sales rep needed a quote, they'd copy the master file, plug in the numbers, and hope nothing broke. Different reps had different versions floating around, and pricing mistakes were costing real money.
The Solution
We replaced the spreadsheet with a Laravel and Vue.js web app. Sales reps pick a panel type, punch in screen dimensions, and the system figures out panel count, power draw, weight, and pricing on the spot. Quotes get generated as branded PDFs with one click. The pricing engine handles customer group tiers automatically, so there's no more looking up multipliers in a spreadsheet. An admin dashboard lets management see every quote in the pipeline.
Results & Impact
Quote turnaround went from 45 minutes down to about 5. Pricing errors stopped completely since the system handles all the math. The team manages over 90 components across multiple product lines from one place, and PDF quotes go straight to clients without any manual formatting.

Kingdom Minded had a problem we see a lot: a business-critical Excel workbook that had grown out of control. Their LED display quoting spreadsheet started simple but over the years picked up formula after formula across multiple sheets. It calculated panel counts from screen dimensions, applied pricing multipliers based on customer type, worked out shipping costs by weight, and determined installation complexity.
The workflow was painful. Every new quote meant copying the master file, filling in specs, and crossing your fingers that none of the formulas got overwritten. With multiple sales reps keeping their own copies, prices drifted. A single misquote on a big project could wipe out the margin entirely.
We rebuilt it as a Laravel and Vue.js web application. The LED calculator lets reps choose a panel type, enter screen dimensions, and see panel counts, power requirements, and weight update in real time. The pricing engine pulls the right multiplier based on whether the customer is wholesale, retail, or a preferred partner, so nobody has to look anything up manually.
The PDF quote generator spits out professional, branded documents with itemized pricing, technical specs, shipping estimates, and installation scope. Management gets a dashboard showing every quote in the pipeline, pricing trends, and rep activity.
